Today is Nellie's birthday! She was born on October 15, 1895- which makes her 129 today!

I’m home from college for a bit for fall break, and two doll-related things have happened so far on this break! First, I came home to see that my AG collector Barbie has arrived!!! Then, I just got back from pumpkin picking, and the farm had some small pumpkins - perfect for my dolls!

American Girl just trademarked the name "Wesley" in dolls, doll accessories and doll clothing. This is the category doll names are usually trademarked in, so it's probably not a pet name. I did some research, and even though Wesley is seen as more of a boy's name, in recent years it has become more popular as a unisex name. It was the 954th most popular name for girls in 2024. Maybe this will be a contemporary character? It's too early for Girl of the Year 2027... Or maybe, this is a historical with a not-so-historically accurate name... What do you all think?

Today is Saige's birthday! She was born this day in 2003, making her 21 today.

The Fun in the Southwest Outfit is now available at American Girl’s website: A new light purple scooter is available, too, but I couldn’t find the picture.

I have heard a rumor that American Girl is releasing a pajama set called the Sweet Dreams PJs either at the end of this year or in early 2025. I don't know what they look like yet, but I do know the name! They will probably retail for $32, like most AG pajamas do these days.
