This hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but rumors are floating around that the American Girl store in Los Angeles will close its doors on its location at The Grove outdoor shopping mall sometime in March 2022. I have heard that the store may relocate to another mall in the Los Angeles area, which I think is the most likely option considering the Los Angeles store is very popular and is located in the second-most populous city in America.
Either way, I'll be sad if this store closes! The store at The Grove was the first AG store I ever visited.
That’s really too bad. I sure hope this is a rumor. It’s an absolutely beautiful store and in a world class location. It feels like Disneyland with more shopping and no rides. The store not tucked away at all— it’s really HUGE, and bold, prefer to all the other stores! Closer to the airport the malls are ugly. Maybe the Promenade in Santa Monica or Downtown Disney, but this location is easier parking for sure and much nicer than the Promenade. I can’t picture it at the other malls in LA.
this is the only ag store near me (rip scottsdale store!) and i've been wanting to go for a while. i hope it doesn't close! :/

Hmm. I have also visited that store. I found it rather tucked away and difficult for visitors to get to. I don't know LA at all well but wondered if there would be a place closer to the airport or more central that would be better. I hope the store does not disappear.
