Pre-orders for Mattel Creations's Barbie by American Girl are now available for Berry AG Rewards members. They will be available to the general public tomorrow, and the dolls will ship by November 30, 2024, one year from today.

I wonder if the ones ordered the 29th will be shipped any sooner? If anyone who's pre ordered with Mattel a year or so out, what their experiences are like. I'm not that surprised with the price because it's already similar prices to their other limited dolls of which they had several of this year. But I hope I didn't just buy it for more better more attractive dressed Barbies to come about lol I kind of hope it is going to be the only one but I guess a collection of them wouldn't be terrible too idk lol just the waiting and guessing game.
This is a really beautiful doll, but I just can’t help feeling like Barbie and American girl shouldn’t mix. It doesn’t sit right with me.

This is crazy if it is a whole year. Maybe this is a way for American girl to earn huge profits. It appears they are focusing on the long term. They can do that if they pay more attention to Lila and the historical characters. Other stores like Build a bear, Yankees candle, and bath and body works don’t do something like this.
