Redoing my comment. I had a few typos.
It's a Volkswagon Bus. They're from the 70's and still popular with surfers today. They are the largest vehicle to haul all the surfing and beach camping gear, and hangout vehicle. Surfers love to redo them. Volkswagon is planning to release a modern version either this year or next year
