Doll of the Week: Lindsey!

Sorry for forgetting to post yesterday, it completely slipped my mind that it was Sunday. Anyways, Lindsey is the Doll of the Week this week!

Lindsey was the first Girl of the Year doll and was released on September 1, 2001. She had the Classic mold, auburn curly hair, blue eyes and freckles. Her meet outfit was a blue jacket, green graphic tee, khaki skirt and pair of striped tights.

Lindsey lives in Chicago, Illinois with her parents, thirteen-year-old brother Ethan and uncle Bernie. Her story involved her trying to make a difference in people's lives- like trying to get her two teachers together, adding smiley-face stickers to trash cans or sticking up to bullies. Ultimately, Lindsey's plans fail more than they succeed, but she learns from her Uncle Bernie that she should still be herself, and try to help out in a more respectful way.

Lindsey retired on December 31, 2002.
