American Girl also had Nutcrscker costumes. You can try them on Isabelle even though she posted the part of the Gingerbread Girl and I don’t think American Girl had any gingerbread costumes before.
These Nutcracker were wonderful and amazing! I love the Mouse King, Peppermint, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Clara costumes. The Clara costume looks like Caroline’s nightgown.
It would be amazing if American Girl were to Red Riding Hood, Dorothy Gale, Alice in Wonderland, and Bo Peep costumes. They can also do non-Disney versions of Cinderella, Rapunzel, the Little Mermaid, and the Snow Queen.
Isabelle was my first Girl of the Year doll. I loved how Isabelle and her older sister, Jade, was in The Nutcracker. My favorite part of the books and the movie is The Nutcracker performance.
That was the good message in Isabelle’s stories that you don’t have to look at the talents and capabilities of others. You just focus on yourself. My most favorite outfits in Isabelle’s collection is her purple leotard with her dance skirt. I love how her mix and match clothes consist of pink and purple. I also read her story Isabelle in the City which had an article about the history of paper art at the back of the story. This was unusual for a Girl of the Year story but just shows how American Girl still had some educational emphasis at the time.
