The majority of you guys voted for Saige Copeland for Doll of the Month, so she's August's Doll of the Month!
(Edit made by AGDN reader Raine)
In 2013, Saige Copeland lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Saige is an only child who lives with her parents, visits her grandma Mimi often, and has 2 dogs- Sam and Rembrandt- and 2 horses, Picasso and Georgia.
Saige is a spirited, artistic girl who's interested in painting and animals, especially horses. Her favorite class in school is art class, but her life changes when her school announces that art and music won't be offered in both years and her grandma has an accident that has her fall ill. Saige must turn to her artistic talents to find a way to save the art program, deal with friend problems and help her grandma out when she can't ride her horse at the town's annual Balloon Fiesta.
Saige was only available in 2013.
Saige is probably my favorite GOTY doll! I actually did not knew that she lived in New Mexico. That makes me wanna buy her so bad.
ohh, I didn't know that she was an only child! she is my mom's doll because she looks just like my mom, minus the grey hairs (none of which I am responsible for). or her Cheshire cat grin. or her loving kindness. or her crazy happy-dance (that mom has now imprinted on me). there are so many great things about my mom that saige can't do!
btw - this was kid talking :)
Yay! I don't know anything about Saige (except that her movie is terrible) so it'll be great to learn all about her! If anyone wants to watch her movie don't!
now I'm so curious! what other dolls are only children mentioned in their books!? is she the only one???
never owned Saige before because it was during a time I was trying to convince myself they were for kids (which I regret lol) I like her story though because I'm raising an only child, who's close with her grandparents and we both love art. it'd be nice to see that done again.
