While American Girl has released several Disney Princess dolls, including some that released today, dolls inspired by the Frozen movies in particular have been floated around in the AG fandom as theories - after all, both Frozen movies are Disney's most popular movies of all time, with Frozen 2 being the highest-grossing animated movie of all time by any studio. With more Frozen movies on the way, it's only fitting that Anna and Elsa join the American Girl lineup - and in the press release for today's Princess launch, AG and Disney announced that Frozen dolls are coming later this year!

This is awesome! I didn't say I didn't see this coming. I hope that they release Merida and Aurora at some point too! Having curly hair Disney Princess American Girl dolls would be sooooooooooo cool! And they should re-release Belle, Jasmine and Rapunzel with more reasonable prices! If they do Limited Edition dolls, they won't sell that much and make as much money, even if they are $300 each! If they make less expensive versions of the Collector dolls and more of them, they will make way more money and more people can get them anyway!
