I just saw this today, so I guess my daughter and I are going tomorrow. I’m very upset and disappointed that the Stanford store is closing. We had many fun trips there; she was so excited to buy dolls with money she’d saved.
The San Francisco store is where I got my first AG doll on my 5th birthday. Once I read your blog that is was closing I told my mom we need to go, we‘re in the car right now leaving to go!!!! Thank you SO much for the update!!!
I’m having my sweet 16 at the AGP in Columbus! I really hope they don’t close that one, because I live in West Virginia and it’s the closest.
With more and more stores closing, and they are discounting the merchandise rather than sending it back to the warehouse, I'm wondering if they are going to eventually close all the stores except for the big 3 (New York, Chicago and L.A.). This is really sad. The stores were somewhere we could for fun times. We would take our dolls and buy things for them, but it was mainly for enjoying the experience. We can buy stuff online but you can't get that in-person experience on a computer. This is really disappointing.
Actually, Kavi's collection and all the Harry Potter items are excluded. I was there last night. Everything else is 20% except I believe they had leftover Christmas PJs etc at 50% off.
