Now that the collection is finally out, my two cents:
I think AG was smart to take advantage of the recent surge of interest in Y2K trends/fashions. These dolls will appeal to young kids and to some older collectors with the “nostalgia factor.” From the unboxings I’ve seen so far, the dolls seem to have thick, high quality wigs. Reading more about their stories, the “Girl Power” theme is spot on, along with them liking the Spice Girls and No Doubt. I think making twin sisters was a fantastic idea. I also love all the nods to AGOT in the accessories. And of course, the Pizza Hut Book It set is perfection!
However, this collection overall isn’t really giving me…
OMIGOSH THEY ARE FROM THE SEATTLE AREA GAAAAAAAHHHH
I still can't believe the tennis court is only 175. I thought it would be like $300
i love them! :D
I love the dolls and their collection. American girl did an amazing job capturing the 90's I can't wait to go to the store this week. 😍
