Has anyone else received a message like this on their AG FAO toy soldier doll?
I'm amazed. Never added an image before. I guess learning and a love of dolls never does stop.
Just discovered that FAO Schwarz [no t] has gone all out on the Toy Soldier:
There was a shipping problem with my order of the new Toy Soldier doll. I asked about ship times. My representative said that an order she took today was going to ship September 9 so that is good.
In the next two months, we will be seeing the other two collector dolls. I know this is unrelated but I just had a thought about Lila Monetti's release. If August and September each have two collector dolls being released, maybe Lila will be released in October, which is a month before the holiday season begins. Given Lila's surname, it appears she will be Italian-American (the first American Girl character to be so) or have partial Italian blood. For those who don't know, October is also Italian-American heritage month.
