Now that it's August, we are only 4 months away from the release of the Corinne Tan movie from American Girl! I went on the IMDB page of the movie today... again... and found a new casting update!
Rryla McIntosh (Disney Channel's Under Wraps 2) has been cast as a character named Lydia. Lydia was not in the Corinne books, so it seems that she is an original character for the movie.
The one-hour movie will have it's premiere on Cartoon Network in December and will be available to stream on HBO Max the next day.
Who's excited for the movie? I definitely am!

I’m SOOOO EXCITED for the movie to come out! American Girp hasn’t made a move in a while… The last GOTY to get a movie seemed to be Grace.. as far as I can remember. I can’t wait!
I am SO ex for a new American Girl movie FINALLY!!!! And right around the holidays too! That makes it even more special! To me anyhow!
