I just unboxed my Claudie--now named Jessie after my grandmother and the first African American woman to be granted Phi Beta Kappa. Jessie Rodmon Fauset was eventually hired by W.E.B. Du Bois to be the literary editor of Crisis magazine which promoted a number of famous writers including Langston Hughes during the Harlem Renaissance.
And, I bought her bed. Had a little trouble understanding the pictorial instructions but I persisted.
This may just be my opinion but Claudie’s meet outfit looks better than the Jazz outfit. It’s like the softer colors of the meet outfit bring out her features beautifully, but the bright pink of the Jazz outfit sort of… overtakes them I guess? IDK it may just be the lighting
Weird question lol but do you have a picture of her underwear? I have a special interest in lingerie history so Im just curious what they went with lol
