I have two Jess dolls. I got one for Christmas 2016 when I was eighteen and my mom got me another one at the doll and teddy bear show I used to go to for my nineteenth birthday back in 2017. I renamed my second Jess doll Jessica. The first one I got was in PERFECT and AWESOME condition! :D

I LOVE Jess Akiko McConnell! Jess has a lot of firsts!

-Jess is the first explicitly biracial character, with a Japanese mother and Scotch-Irish father.

-Jess was the first Girl of the Year to have an official middle name.

-Jess was the first Girl of the Year to introduce a new face mold to the brand.

-Jess was the first Girl of the Year to carry the label of "Girl of the Year."

-Jess was the first character whose story didn't primarily take place in the United States (or a location that will later be part of the United States) as Belize is in Central America.

Thank you Jess for all the firsts you gave us!!!!😊
