With the new Girl of the Year, Joss Kendrick, coming up soon, I figured it would be fun to take a look at some cheerleading outfits from the past from American Girl!

The first outfit was the Cheerleader Outfit. It was available from 1996 and was retired in 1999. This outfit cost $22.

The next Cheerleader Outfit was available from 1999 to 2001. It also cost $22.

After a two-year break, the next Cheerleader Outfit was available from 2003 to 2005. This one cost $24.

The next Cheerleader Outfit (and the last one named Cheerleader Outfit, thank goodness!) was available from 2006 to 2008. This outfit cost $26.

The next outfit was the Go Team Cheer Gear set, which was available from 2008 to 2011. This outfit cost $28 and came with a book called 'I Love Cheerleading'.

The next outfit was the Campus Cheer Gear set, which was available from 2011 to 2014. This outfit cost $34 and came with a 'Smart' charm.

The next outfit was the Two-in-One Cheer Gear set, which was available from 2014 to 2016. This set cost $48.

The next outfit was the Spirit Squad Outfit, which was available from 2016 to 2018. This outfit cost $28.

The current cheer outfit (for now, at least) is the Competition Cheer Outfit, which released in 2018. This outfit costs $32.
