So I think I've previously mentioned that I'm not a fan of tissue paper patterns, because they are very hard to use, but today I was bored of making things from the templates I've been using, so I decided to use a pattern Kittyfan had given me for Christmas. I couldn't make the leggings or the dresses in it, but there was also a shrug pattern, and it didn't need any notions, just fabric. So I made it. It turned out better than I expected. Tada!
As you can see, Josefina is wearing her navy blue long dress and blue polka dot headscarf, then I finished the shrug (which I made out of Mermaid Sparkle fabric) and put it on. I thought Josefina was the perfect person to model the new shrug. I'll make more doll outfits out of tissue paper in the future, and maybe human clothes someday. IF I'm lucky, I might be able to make my own Halloween costume, which will be a princess, maybe from a Barbie movie. (Don't judge me because I love Barbie movies).
Thanks for reading, Bye! 😀
When I was a kid, I really liked playing with dolls, but when I grew up, I loved playing house of hazards more than anything
Oh, and I dislike tissue paper patterns too! When I find a pattern I like and will use often I cut one out of Non woven fabric like interfacing or left over “fabric “ bags. It lasts forever and doesn’t distort its shape.
Oh! I love how it turned out! What pattern did it come from?
