Hi Everyone,
As promised, here is My Thoughts on Corinne Part 3. In this part, I will continue on where I left off on Part 2. along with some pros and cons about Corinne's story overall. I could not do it because I had a test right after I did the other post-so yeah. Anyway, as I was saying about.
I think the biggest problem with Corinne's book 2 was how it did not really connect to book 1. I mean, sure, she is training Flurry and everything, but it didn't really connect. Also, Corinne's mother's pregnancy wasn't really nescsarry, it just seemed like some extra thing American Girl slapped in there to make it more interesting. Also, the plot was all over the place. From camping, to fighting off a mountain lion, to pregnancy, to a new room, there seemed to be no real problem. If I was writting this, I would have just made 1 problem and stuck with it. All in all, her second book had great potential, but it would maybe work better as an AG GOTY movie.
All in all, Corinne's story was okay, but it could have been better. First of all, Gwynn wasn't a big part. Again, just a little detail. Maybe if Gwynn had her own series that was sort of a tie-in with Corinne's that talked about Gwynn's competion. As a seperate series, Gwynn would have been great, but as another character in the Corinne books, it was okay. I like how AG is trying to show sisterly love, but it didn't quite work out. Also, Corinne's story was a little on the unrealistic side. I mean, how many kids sleep in a BIG HUGE room in a BIG HUGE house. All in all Corinne's story was good, but it could use some tweaks.
I appreciate your insights on Corinne's Part 3! It's interesting to hear how you feel about the disconnection in the plot between the books. This reminds me of how storytelling works in many games, like Infinite Craft, where character arcs and world-building often enhance the overall experience. A more cohesive narrative can greatly impact engagement, both in literature and gaming. Would love to see a crossover between unique characters from both worlds!
