So WBU is releasing tomorrow. I like the idea of the line but as far as we know, there is no disability representation AT ALL. Yes, I know we had Joss recently, but still, there are plenty of disabilities which AG could have covered. So for Gwynn and Corinne I'm hoping one of them is disabled. Here is the storyline I am hoping for: Gwynn and Corinne are identical twins, but they are very different. Gwynn, who is disabled ( I'm still debating what disability she should have), loves books and wants to be an author. Corinne, on the other hand is captain of the volleyball team and is very popular. When their parents decide to get Gwynn a service dog, Corinne is afraid that her sister's dog will draw unfavorable attention toward the girls while they are at school, so she distances herself from her sister. But the parents also decide to adopt a baby from China, and Gwynn and Corinne end up bonding as they investigate their Chinese roots.
What do you think?
This is so cool! Hoping that the Disability isn’t a personality…
i just realized how similar this is to one of my friendships.
there’s a girl, two actually. Identical twins. One is autistic and has social anxiety. The other, she‘s pretty social. Has a lot of friends. her friends are pretty much FORCED to be friends with the other one.
I have autism, and I don't fully agree with an autistic GOTY,as AG would probably make it her only personality. (The Actually Autistic community is veeeerry biased, and some other autistic people have been shunned by them cause of their preferences or what they think. Especially when other autistics prefer functioning labels, like me.) IMO,I would like to see a GOTY with cancer or something. (I don't consider my autism a disability)
Im in love with this idea!
I really like this idea!
I love it ❤️
