Last night I finished The Clue of the Whistling Bagpipes. Which means I made it to Gabriela. And I just realized this morning that I had been spelling Gabriela wrong. I had been doing two L's instead of one. Whoops. Anyway, I also tried my hand at some poems last night, because Gabriela is into poetry. I'll write them so you can judge how good they are.
I like to read books,
I like to write them as well,
It is fun for me.
I will try my hand at making this,
Even though it makes me want to twist,
I may not be that good,
But just maybe I could,
Just to clear that silly whilly mist.
Life is tricky, like
Riding a bike without wheels
This is the same thing.
Poetry is hard,
Like doing long division,
It makes me sleepy.
The first one is a haiku, the second one is a limerick, and the last two are also haiku's. Those are the main forms of poetry I know. I learned how to haiku in Language for school, and I learned about Limericks in Anatomy last year. I did not like learning Anatomy. I much prefer Paleontology, which is what I'm doing this year. Anyway, Sometimes I can't decide who I like better. Gabriela or Tenney. So, I will put it to a vote. I'm not going to do much information, just a couple sentences about each, no pictures.
Gabriela, (as previously mentioned) loves poetry. She also loves dancing. Her favorite dance styles are Ballet (only in books 1 and 2), Hip hop, and tap.
Tenney (Tenneyson, after famous poet Alfred, Lord Tenneyson) loves guitar and writing songs. She wants to become a professional musicion.
Now that you know what they like, vote!
