I always think about that question why do I like AG. I mean there are other companys that are just as good and less expensive. For me it is not about having the "luxury" doll brand. I really like the community around AG. There are hundreds if not thousands of youtube channels about Ag, not as much of other doll brands. I feel like anyone can become a Agtuber. We like them best for a few reasons. They really are the best quality - you can buy used dolls that are still very presentable. Their stories are generally very well written. Their clothing and accessories are generally unique and high quality - especially the historical accessories and clothing. Mostly though, I really prefer their face molds to other brands. We have some M. Alexander's and while they are pretty, they just don't have the same down home girl next door look. I don't like the new face makeup that is on the current dolls though. We have removed the painted lashes on a couple already, and think they look better.
