I got bored so I went on Tradmarkia and saw that AG had at one point trademarked the name "Emory Van Zant" but the name was never used so AG dropped the trademark. At the same time, AG had also trademarked "Norman the Gopher" but AG dropped that name as well. Now, I'm wondering what kind of doll Emory was going to be. I checked the popularity using Babycenter and it looks like Emory was a popular-ish name in the last decade with about 300-400 parents using it a year. In 2020 Emory is ranked 430 in popularity. Since Emory wasn't used much until 2000, she was probably going to be a CC. The weird thing is, according to Trademarkia, she was going to have a pet gopher! What do you think about this? BTW, I'll update this as soon as I see any new trademarks.
Other Names on Trademarkia that AG can still use:
Courtney Moore (obviously)
Gwynn
Estelle
Wow! I never expected a gopher! Unless Norman the Gopher was supposed to be WellieWishers and Emory and Norman weren't connected... I don't know
