well i havent been here since last year lol

but i have missed all of you and i see that most of my former friends on here are now gone, but i am excited to see the new wave of people on here, see other AG fans, and celebrate my second year on AGDN! yes, second. it feels like just yesterday that i was posting a rant about joss. but no. it was two years ago.

so american girl has recently had an increase in prices and it concerns me on a level i can't explain. the last time they had in increase was in 2017 and that was MESSY. people rioting about boxes, low-quality material, quick cash-grabs, and the dedication being on income rather than showing how girlhood can be a struggle, but is always worth it.

but no.

they thought about money.

we all thought that corinne and world by us would be a change for the better, but the truth is that the worst is but to come as we see from them already having a weird collaboration with LoveShackFancy. i do think it is cool that they're teaming up with a big-deal brand, but the last time they did so was with the clements twins, who are literal instagrammers. no joke. and #americangirlisoverparty was a thing. it hurt, yet didn't hit home, because it was so utterly odd that it's indescribable.
