I'm really looking forward to the Marvel movie The Marvels. It kind of looks like one of those silly movies where they portray women as indestructable and not needing a man, or anyone for that matter, to help them, but it also looks fun, especially with Ms. Marvel.* I haven't seen the series but want to--Kamala Khan seems hilarious.

Not to mention, she is gorgeous. And so are American Girl dolls. So what would she look like as one?

I went on "Create Your Own" on the AG website and designed this....

I think it came out great! Of course, it's not perfect, but hey--just because you can design thousands of different AG dolls doesn't mean every one is perfect.

*Damsels in distress are a cliche we're all sick of for good reason. Women can handle themselves, and men are not the only solution! Yet while breaking the cliche is awesome, we can't have women always saving themselves, like they are goddesses. That's unrealistic... and imagine how it makes little girls feel when they need help from others!
