So this summer I have to read 100 books, and my Mom will take me to the AG store. And as of yesterday, I have finished five books. They are listed below.
Alliana; Girl of Dragons.
Mystery of the Dark Tower.
Trouble at Fort La Pointe.
Watcher in the Piney Woods.
Olivia Twist.
As you can probably guess, 2, 3, and 4 are American Girl Mystery books. I loved all of them, and they were really interesting. If anyone knows any other good AG Mystery books, let me know in comments. And I personally strongly recommend Alliana; Girl of Dragons. It is a really good book. Thanks for Reading, Bye! 😀
American Girl has lots of wonderful books in the historical aisle. You should try The Lady's Slipper: A Melody Mystery. There is also Gangster at the Grand Atlantic, The Cry of the Loon: A Samantha Mystery, etc. There are a lot of good AG books. It will be too long for me to write here. But you can just look at the mysteries and central series. You can also look at other historical fiction series, like Dear America. I don't like Dear America that much, but they do have a couple of good books.
There is:
1. One Eye Laughing, The Other Weeping
2. Mirror Mirror on the Wall (my favorite)
3. Christmas After All
4. Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
5. The Fences Between Us

As reading is your hobby, you can write some academic topics on it with references, If you face difficulty in writing references dont worry apa reference generator is helpful for you for writing references.
So far we've read The Arkadians by Lloyd Alexander, The Dangerous Gift - one of the Wings of Fire books, the Golden Pavilion (Nancy Drew), The Book of 3 (also Alexander), Lighthouse Island (an old book about Maine), The Empty City from the Survivors series.
Now we're working on Dumpling Days by Grace Lin. Plus a couple more Maine books (that's my summer unit study). Mom found a couple of books that she wants me to read for other unit studies that look good - They are by Gail Carson Levine - one is the Ceiling Made of Eggshells, and the other takes place in ancient Greece, but I don't remember the title. I'll have to check out Alliana. It sounds really good.
I recently read Kirsten: The Runaway Friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Something I highly appreciat was that it wasn't another "whodunnit?" story but one where the main protagonist is asking, "What happened?" To me, it stands apart from the crowd of other AG mysteries, in the best way.
