After procrastinating for a full day we finally get to episode four.
Tomorrow (or in two days... or three. Whenever I get the chance to write it) is the season finale! After that Briana is writing season 5, and the series finale.
Go over to her most recent post and tell her she can do it!
Livia
It was them.
They weren’t allies anymore.
They were the enemy.
I looked down at my necklace. The ring I wore on a chain.
I thought hard about what I was going to say to her.
I really hoped this worked.
Arianna
Janna had dropped my hand; I could get away.
But the person was still chasing us. If I ran, he could go after me and I would be dead in minutes because I would be alone and my hands were bound, if we stayed together at least we, enemies, would have each other.
I wished the world didn’t hate me right now.
So I kept running.
“Ariana!”
“What?” I am one of those people who hates talking while running.
“If we die I want to tell you that it was all true!”
“What was all true?!”
There was a muffled noise I could hear underneath the branches cracking and our deep breathing, I looked backward, he wasn’t there anymore. I looked forward again and realized that Cal had disappeared.
“Janna!”
“What?”
“Stop!”
“But-”
“Stop!” I grabbed her arm. “*breath* It’s not chasing us anymore.”
“But it has Cal-” she tried to run.
“But it doesn’t *breath* have us!” I grabbed her arm.
Then someone grabbed my arm.
I would have screamed if they hadn’t clamped their hand over my mouth as they pulled me into the bushes.
Mrs. Whitaker would not have been proud of how easily they took me.
Cassia
I felt them open the car doors. I heard their voices. I knew they would take Livia away. They might kill her. But I had to stay here. I was in the car for what felt like hours, and I bet it was.
Then I felt something.
I pulled a piece of paper out of my pocket (yeah, the pants I was wearing actually had pockets.) In the very, very dim light I could just make out
CASSIA, IF YOU GET THIS THEN THEY’VE TAKEN ME
Yeah. Obviously.
AND THEY MIGHT KILL ME. BUT THEY COULD ALSO TORTURE ME TO FIND OUT WHERE YOU ARE. GET OUT OF THE CAR AND RUN UNTIL YOU FIND SOMEONE ON OUR SIDE WHO CAN PROTECT YOU. I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I REGRET EVERYTHING, ALL OF IT UP UNTIL HOURS AGO. BUT I’M ON YOUR SIDE NOW, NO MATTER WHAT. WE NEED YOU ALIVE CASSIA SIERRA. WE NEED YOU.
Josh
Woodland.
That's where headquarters was.
I grabbed the bag and tucked the newspaper into the pocket, then stepped out the front door. I needed to get to Cassia. Cassia went to Shadow Creek. Shadow Creek was north. Mrs. Whitaker didn’t have a car, but there was a bike rack that didn’t have locks on it.
I rode north, as fast as I could. After almost an hour I finally reached it. That hour didn't me a lot of time to think though, the only thought racing through my head the whole time was Cassia is the chosen one. Cassia has to be alive. I need to get to Cassia. Cassia. Cassia. Over and over and over again for an hour that felt like years.
I left the bike in the woods where it couldn’t be seen from the Shadow Creek grounds, then raced into the tiny student parking lot. That was when I saw Aiden and Harper. Mrs. Whitaker had told me about them. I’m not exactly sure how she knew about them, but she knew they were Ravens.
“Which car?” Aiden asked.
“The white truck over there,” Harper pointed. That was a mistake on her part. Then, “Wait, we have to go back for a sec, I forgot-” But I didn’t hear the rest of the sentence.
If they were leaving then Lacy Arianna and, most importantly, Cassia, weren’t in the building.
I climbed into the trunk (it was unlocked for some strange reason) before they could come back and hid under the blankets almost too conveniently stored back there.
They came back, I heard their voices and felt the vibrations as the truck started. I had no idea where we were going, but Cassia had to be there.
She just had to be.
What's going to happen now?
I HAVE NO CLUE WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT THIS AGH
