Livia whined. She reminded me of Lacy. It’s not every day you’re tied to your enemy. Well, I wouldn’t call Livia my enemy. She tried to set me free, anyways.
“I hate you.” Livia muttered. I stared at her.
“Ex-cuse me?”
I then saw she was staring at a photo of Cayla, Joslyn, Aiden, Harper, and herself.
“Not talking to you.” She muttered. “I’m talking to my old self, evil, brutal, selfish, stupid Livia Ward.”
“You were never any of those things.” I told her.
“That’s ‘cause you didn’t know me.”
“Livia…”
“NO.” She snapped. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I’m still that girl, aren’t I?”
“No, Livia, you never were ‘that girl’.” I assured her.
“You didn’t. Know. Me.” Livia’s tone was strict.
“Livia…”
“No! Maybe I still am.” She muttered. “JOSLYN.” She called. Joslyn stepped into the dark room.
“What, Livia?” She groaned.
Livia showed Joslyn some symbol on her neck. “It hasn’t disappeared yet.” She whispered.
Joslyn yanked Livia out from under the ropes, and I tried to follow, but with a snap of her fingers, the ropes were nearly suffocating me. “Joslyn..you don’t...have..to...do this…” And then I was pretty sure I did suffocate, because the world went black.
Arianna
The moon sunk into the ocean that was sky, or so I saw from the backseat of Cal’s car. I was angry with Cal, because;

Why would she kill Lacy? She could’ve just brought her with us. She stopped, and someone jumped in the passenger seat.
“Hey, Janna.” Cal said.
“What about the other one?” Janna asked.
“Eh, whiny, oh, and dead.”
I struggled. Just hearing Lacy’s death in spoken words ticked me off.
Moments of Lacy’s pre-death days flashed before me.
“Will you stop being so pessimistic?”
“Fake history?”
“Whose car is this?”
“Lacy, you’re a genius.”
She’d always been so questioning.

I waited at the front desk. No customers. I waited for Cal or Janna to call, but it was no use. So I called them.
