Yesterday, I visited my local store, the AGP in Chicago, to be one of the first people to see Claudie in person. There weren't many people, but a decent amount was present nonetheless -- though who's to say how many were there specifically for Claudie like myself lol? I brought my "good" camera with me to take some pics of the displays for your viewing pleasure~
Lower-level displays.
As you can see, rather than having a full display section like most of the historical dolls, Claudie was thrown into a few cube displays on the lower level (aside from the one "pajama party" display shown in the last picture.)
City window display.
Upper-level displays.
These were about the same size as the cabinets shown downstairs (except for the one showcasing her bed), but there were fewer display options on the upper floor as expected. And like others have noted, including Sydney, her bed, scooter, and bakery were not available for purchase at the store (although, the bed was the only item that was on display out of those three).
And now have some bonus pics of the new historical Halloween costumes lol~
To wrap things up, Claudie is certainly a beautiful doll, and seeing her in person is *so* much better than mere online photos of her. I'm so in awe over her collection, and I'm excited to read her story~
Until next time, where I shall be reviewing Ms. Claudie and some of her collection~
I agree, the photos in person are way better than the ones online. The ones online make her skin look so much darker than it really is.
