So Bryant trademark was alive then dead. And the trademark Ning got dead too. But Bryant still got realsed! So a lot of people think (not really me) the Ning will be a asian historical character. We need more dolls of color and we still have Ivy, but she is retired and only a "side character." According to Just Dream Studios an a doll youtube channel, most trademarks sites are unreliable. After Bryant's trademark was dead, Bryant still got realsed, with the trademark on his name! So a lot of people are having disscusions weather the trademark Ning is dead in American Girl's mind.

She is a gold rush character (if we didn't get Ning as a gold rush character, another doll would be exiting!) There is some contreversy around Ning being a gold rush character, like Would she get gold and be very rich? or not like most people did?
