So I finished every single experiment I wanted to do. Josefina is modeling all of them, because her modeling career has just begun. Below are her photos of her wearing my new dresses. But I'm going to describe the dresses. So when I first started doing these outfits, the skirts were short. I'm not a fan of short skirts. So I decided I would try and make a lot of different dresses using the skirt template I have. First I just added an overskirt, which Joss modeled in a previous post, but then I just added a longer skirt, which is in the photo below.
See the difference? Josefina's has a longer skirt than Joss'. The headscarf Josefina's wearing is something I made that would go with everything.
I also made a dark blue poncho that I made a little while ago, and it looks awesome with her dress. It's down a little.
And then, after I finished the dress, I made another. This one is my personal favorite style out of all of them. The last style I made is a long skirt with an overskirt! The overskirts just give the dolls a very princessy vibe. And, I need some help before I show the dress. I've described it, but it's just one of those things you have to see in person.
So before I show the dress, I've been thinking for the past couple of days that I want to get another doll. I've mentioned that I'm getting Maryellen, but now I'm tied between getting Maryellen, or Evette. So I'm putting it to a vote. Maryellen Larkin, or Evette Petters. I'm asking from a "which people think is more a modelesque" standpoint. (No one in the world can convince me it's not a word. It is now). And I'm also asking from a hair standpoint. You've heard of my problem with Josefina. I took out her braid and her hair became a mess. It is CHAOTIC.
Anyway, let me know about the doll thing. Now it's time to see the final dress. The one with the long skirt and the overskirt!!! 😃
TADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, you're probably wondering how you are supposed to tell that the white part is an overskirt. Well, I also took a photo showing the proof.
See? A Mermaid Sparkle dress, with a Snow Queen overskirt. (I came up with the last name right on the spot).
Now, back to Maryellen and Evette. I'm putting it to a vote about which to get next time I'm at the AG store.
Thanks for reading, Bye! 😀
Experiments are great! Keeps you learning! the dresses are awesome! imo Evette is probably one of if not The prettiest doll Ag has ever made! I think she can pull anything off literally everything looks great on her! But you do already have 2 medium toned Josefina molds so I’m not sure if you’d want another just yet. So I think maybe Maryellen! She’s a really cute simple doll and she’d probably look good in everything!
