I was watching a new Biggestagfanever (if you don’t know who she is, she’s a really awesome AGtuber that makes unboxing videos and reall great agsm videos) and she got a Truly Me 89 and noticed that the box said it’s ages 6+ instead of 8+ like they normally do. I think AG might be making the suggested ages based on the difficulty to care for the doll, or might make all of the Truly Me dolls 6+. I don’t see AG changing the suggested age for character dolls, but we’ll see. I haven’t seen any changes to the recommended age on there website, but please comment on this post if you see it change on there website or if you hear any more information on this, I would love to know!
Edit: @MyAgLife saw that on the AG website all of the Truly Me dolls are now 6+, while the character dolls are still 8+. Thank you for checking that @MyAgLife !
I was around 8 when I got Kailey. I'm just not sure If g year olds can take care of a nicely made doll, but AG seems as If they're trying to target younger girls now, and I wouldn't be surprised if the quality went down; too... I hope AG dolls don't turn into oversized barbies: Lots of diversity, but very cheap. I you want quality, it's a jump to collectors edition dolls with beautiful clothes and 5 or 6 times the price tags.
Cool!! And your right they changed the stuff on the site to ages 6+. Kira is still 8+ like you thought. I do think they’re just changing all the truly me dolls bc tm 44 is 6+ and her curly hair seems kinda hard to take care of
interesting!
