I'm ranking by approximately how many people in the United States currently share their name with a historical doll. I've used the website howmanyofme.com for the data. I've also decided to use their given name for ranking rather then their nickname so Kit Kittredge will be Margaret Kittredge, Nanea Mitchell will be Alice Mitchell, etc. I also excluded Kaya because she does not have both a first and last name.

Did any of these surprise you? I was surprised how low Samantha ranked. I did not realize how rare of a last name Parkington is. I was personally expecting Courtney or Rebecca to be ranked number one, but Elizabeth totally makes sense. I think it would be cool to share a name with an American girl doll and actually know someone who shares her full name with one (but I don't believe she is an AG fan). I don't even share my first name with any. How about you?
I looked it up and Montoya is her father's last name and Romero is her mother's. It's interesting.
I share my first name with Addy, but it's spelled differently.
