So, I want another Feliceity, but I already have one. And I don’t want to get rid of her because she’s a pleasant company . She’s not in the best shape, even though really the only problems are that her hair is fried and her lips are pale and don’t have ant color. And I don’t know how to re-wig/get a wig for her. And I can‘t send her to the doll hospital because again, she’s pleasant company. What should I do?

You could try fixing up your old felicity if you wanted to! It might help her hair if you did a hot water dunk? And you can actually repaint face paint on some dolls with watercolor paint! I've repainted my truly me #62 dolls lips by doing that! If you don't end up fixing her though you can usually get dolls for a good price on ShopGooodwill or Mercari! :)
P.S. here's the link to a really cool video that is about fixing up a old Felicity doll: How A 1990s Felicity American Girl Doll Is Restored | Refurbished - YouTube
I'd keep her and find a new/used one in super great condition (I have one that I can part with if you are interested). My daughter got Felicity for her very first doll, and she was well loved when we found her on e-bay, but she was 5 at the time, so it made sense to not get one that was pristine. Needless to say, the scruffy Lissie will never get a new wig, and will never be rehomed. She is sentimental. I have mine from 199owhatever, and I will never sell her, so I have an extra kicking around that is I think American Girl - she came with the blue stripe dress, but her hair is in beautiful shape. Retouching lips on your old doll is super easy. I actually retouch with watercolor paint because it is only semi permanent so if you make a big goof you can fix it. Wigs are super easy to replace if you want to replace on your original, but it's probably going to be $30-$50 for a wig that replicates Felicity, so I say why bother unless you can find one that is on super sale.
