Lately i've been reading Addy's books! They are so interesting and filled with emotion. They bring pictures and imagination in your head while you read! They make me so interested! So trust me if you've been avoiding your Addy books like I was, DON'T, there spectacular!!! -

I like Addy's books too! AG does a great job explaining the tough topic of slavery to young tweens
The first time I read Meet Addy, I couldn't finish it because it was too sad! But more recently I read the whole series, and I enjoyed it.
Who wins - the one who cries or the one who doesn't??? LOL - I only cry if I read it out loud cause it chokes me up! (I don't want to give it away so I can't tell you the part I cry over).
I can't read her Christmas story out loud without crying!! They really grab your emotions and they are very well written.
