Today, American Girl announced that their exclusive Megan Moroney doll will be available at Target, Megan's retail partner, this holiday season. She will be available on November 22 at Target.com and at Target stores in early December.

Her Stage Outfit is $42, and her Guitar and Mic Stand is $46. The Fan Fashion Outfit is $42. The Concert Ready Accessories are $20. The VIP Accessories are $20.

Today, it was announced by Publishers Marketplace that Valorie Lee Schaefer, author of The Care and Keeping of You, is writing an adult follow-up book without American Girl's involvement, You Part 2: Aligning Your Head, Heart and Hormones In Middle Life. It will be published by Viking, an imprint of Penguin Random House, and will be illustrated by Edith Young.

Doll Twitter user SeeingMount just posted photos of the new American Girl holiday collector dolls. The theme this year is Berry Sparkle, and the dolls come in a red dress and jacket. One doll has the Claudie mold, decal brown eyes, medium skin, and long, curly brown hair, and the other has the Joss mold, light skin, curly blond hair, and blue eyes. I can’t wait for these dolls to come out!
