American Girl had a stage outfit on Target listed in collaboration with country artist Megan Moroney. It has since been taken down, but screenshots have been saved. According to SeeingMount, a celebrity doll of Megan is in the works, but the doll in this picture is just Truly Me 115. I wonder if this is a JLY 12/Gwen or JLY 26/Gabriela situation...

Today, it was announced by Publishers Marketplace that Valorie Lee Schaefer, author of The Care and Keeping of You, is writing an adult follow-up book without American Girl's involvement, You Part 2: Aligning Your Head, Heart and Hormones In Middle Life. It will be published by Viking, an imprint of Penguin Random House, and will be illustrated by Edith Young.

Doll Twitter user SeeingMount just posted photos of the new American Girl holiday collector dolls. The theme this year is Berry Sparkle, and the dolls come in a red dress and jacket. One doll has the Claudie mold, decal brown eyes, medium skin, and long, curly brown hair, and the other has the Joss mold, light skin, curly blond hair, and blue eyes. I can’t wait for these dolls to come out!
